Official PitchSide Player Agreement • Required One-Time Acknowledgment for All Match Participants
By registering for, attending, or participating in any pickup soccer games, tournaments, leagues, or training events organized by PitchSide ("we", "us", or "PitchSide"), you acknowledge, understand, and unconditionally agree to the following legally binding terms, assumption of risk, and release of liability.
You understand that soccer is an athletic, physical contact sport played on turf, grass, and indoor surfaces. Participation carries inherent risks of physical injury (including, but not limited to, sprains, fractures, muscle tears, concussions, and cardiovascular events), illness, and property damage. You certify that you are physically fit to participate and voluntarily assume all risks, both known and unknown, associated with your participation.
You hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue PitchSide, its founders, officers, directors, employees, field hosts, referees, facility owners, property managers, and fellow participants (collectively, the "Released Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of negligence, personal injury, disability, death, or property damage sustained while participating in any PitchSide event or on facility premises.
In the event of an emergency, injury, or acute medical condition occurring during a PitchSide event, you grant permission to PitchSide field hosts and venue staff to seek necessary emergency medical care and transport on your behalf if you are incapacitated. You agree that you are solely responsible for all financial obligations and costs incurred for any medical treatment or transportation.
You grant PitchSide irrevocable permission and royalty-free rights to record, photograph, and film your participation during matches and events. PitchSide may use these photographs and video recordings for promotional, marketing, and editorial purposes across the PitchSide web platform, mobile applications, and official social media channels without compensation.
You agree to uphold PitchSide's sportsmanship standards, follow all facility rules, adhere to footwear requirements, and respect organizers and fellow players. Slide tackling is strictly prohibited in pickup games. PitchSide reserves the right to immediately eject, suspend, or permanently ban any player for violent conduct, abusive language, discriminatory remarks, or dangerous play with zero refund.
You acknowledge that checking the waiver confirmation box during registration or tapping "I Agree" in the PitchSide app constitutes a legal, electronic signature under the Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (E-SIGN) and has the exact same legal validity as a physical written signature.
